Ever since the 6th grade, I started documenting my life through video footage. I never really knew why but I always felt like something in my life was worth remembering in ways much more than the human mind can retain. At the end of every year, I would make a recap sort of montage video of my favorite (& not so favorite) memories. It was always something I looked forward to working on & for a lot of my friends to be a part of. I promised myself that one day, when I knew there was a story to be told, I would make a documentary.
As the years went on, I started noticing somewhat of a decline in my footage. Jumping rope at the park with my friends turned into jumping over fences at some sketchy place with people who I thought were my friends. Birthday parties became frat parties & ragers. Candy didn’t really taste as sweet anymore, if you catch my drift. Waking up at slumber parties were exchanged for waking up who knows where with who knows with. Relationships were more like relationshits. My life was very unhealthy & at risk in every aspect of the word. And that’s when I decided to get away & do something I’ve always wanted to do—I left California for a year to become a performer at Walt Disney World. Because although I was at a time in my life where I stopped believing in myself, I never stopped believing in the magic of Disney. 
All I wanted when I arrived at Disney World was to feel free & I don’t know how I got so lucky but I was blessed with so much more than that. All the things & all the people that happened to me there finally let me realize that I deserve a second chance at living life. Although I’m back in California, Disney World really did become my home away from home & the magic really doesn’t end here because today I can honestly say because of everything that has happened to me & seeing where I am now, I feel more alive than ever.
So this is a video to say cheers, to the happiest experience of my life & thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who was & always will be a part of it. 

Check out my sister’s awesome, heartwarming, touching video of her experience working for Disney World! Tho I missed her lots & if I watched this while she was gone I would bawl my eyes out…this is honestly the happiest I’ve ever seen her all my life. I’m so proud of her & so happy that she was able to be a part of something so special.
